As you can tell in our photos, fall has arrived in our neck of the woods. A little bit of leaf raking and yard clean up is in order, but we have been enjoying seeing the pretty leaves for a little bit.
Today's Mother/Daughter Remix is this thrifted Target lace top for $2.99. Lace is something that we both don't do very often, although we think it's very feminine and pretty. We thought we would have a go at styling this top.

I love this lace top! Can't believe the price! It looks great paired with all the different colors! Great post girls!
ReplyDeleteI love lace & I am glad you are remixing such a cute lace top. I want your next remix to be on colored blazer. I want to add a couple colored blazers to my closet actually & I know you have a fantastic collection Heather, so make me happy & remix colored blazers, once in the future. =)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite looks here are Kayla's with the burgundy skirt, Heather's with the Midi Floral Skirt (that skirt has great Fall colors) & Heather's with the Lavender Skinny Pants.
$2.99- I spend more than that on a good coffee...lol. What a steal:)
ReplyDeleteLove all of your looks but really smitten with the lace and leather jacket....like the tough against the girlie/sweet!
Have a great week ladies!

Ooh! The lace top is a lovely piece. I love it with Kayla's peplum sweater and metallic flats. Heather's butching it up with a leather jacket is also cute. You two are so creative.
ReplyDeleteThat leather jacket look is a nice mix of feminine and tough. Great remix. I see there's a lot you can do with a lace top

How is it that you look as young as Kayla? :)
ReplyDeleteI love that lace top and never would've thought of SO many great pairings for it. My favorite look is with the leather jacket, a great mix.
I love each of these looks! And you can't beat $2.99 for a cute new top!:)
ReplyDeleteThat top is so cute! So many great ways to style it.
ReplyDeleteLove the lace and leather best. Fun project.
ReplyDeleteIt is a very pretty top! I think you guys did a great job with it - my favorites are both of the black jackets/blazers you wore it with. I think it helps give it a bit of an edge. And you will definitely get a bunch more use out of it in the summer!!
ReplyDeleteOoh so pretty! I love all of these looks! My favorite is pairing the top with the moto jacket. I like the juxtaposition of feminine with ruggedness (is that the word we would use to describe the jacket?). I also really like it paired it with colored skirts and pants. Nicely remixed, ladies!

i love seeing one piece remixed over and over. Especially across generations!
ReplyDeletegreat lace shirt, love its versatility.
ReplyDeleteAnother great remix. My fave is the lace with the floral skirt.
ReplyDeleteThis top is a great thrift find and it's nice to see people occasionally set foot outside their comfort zone. I think the bigger print on this top makes it a little bit more modern and not overly feminine.
