A Go To Color Combo and a Very Inspiring Award

One of my favorite "go-to" combos is a red, black and leopard look.  There is just something about leopard paired with red that makes me feel pulled together.  This leopard top is finally making it's debut and I am not sure what took me so long.  Kayla got this for me during one of the after holiday sales at H&M.  She text me when she was at the mall and told me, "I found the perfect thing for you."  She knows me well and knows my love for all things animal print!

Another cool thing is that Tracey from Versatile Style by Tracey awarded us the Very Inspiring Award!  Thanks so much Tracey for nominating us.  It really is nice to know that our little blog is something that inspires others enough to nominate us.

 
This award is pretty simple.  Recognize the person who nominated you, done.  List seven things about yourself.  Well, since there are two of us, we decided to list seven things about both of us as a pair.

  1. We love fashion, duh!
  2. We both love leopard print, or any type of animal print (as evidenced above)
  3. We both love animals, especially puppies in pajamas.  We sat on Pinterest for a long time looking at animals in pajamas.
  4. We both love a good meal.  We love to eat!
  5. We both love Kohl's, New York & Company, and Target.
  6. We both despise doing laundry! 
  7. We are addicted to nail polish.  We counted our bottles not too long ago and we realized it is an addiction, we have over 90+ bottles!
Although we have fun doing this blog, we still butt heads, which is normal for a mother and teenage daughter.  As much as we are different, we always agree on the things we listed above!
 
We are also supposed to nominate 15 more nominees.  Honestly, there are so many inspiring blogs out there we can't just pick 15. We like fashion blogs, crafty blogs, mommy blogs, beauty blogs, you name it.

  4. I love this look Heather! You've given me another idea for my leopard blouse and red skinny jeans! I could almost do an entire week's worth of outfits with my red jeans I think just based on ideas from you!

    Hmm, something about myself - I have been a Muppet fan since childhood and I'm so excited they started filming their newest movie yesterday!
