Happy Monday ladies! How was your weekend? Ours was busy, but a fun one. We took a family trip to the sledding hill and also went to Nordstrom's for Kayla to try on prom dresses! It was also an exciting weekend because what do we find in the February issue of Lucky Magazine? A picture of Kayla. See her post HERE.
Today's remix comes courtesy of another recent Kohl's clearance rack purchase. This is a Simply Vera skirt for a whopping $6.80! We both really like the versality of this skirt since it can be worn year round as well as dressed up and dressed down.
Do you own a floral skirt? How do you like to wear yours?

I love floral skirts because they are so easy to style by just pulling out one of the colors in the print. You have to love Kohl's clearance racks!
ReplyDeleteI remember prom shopping with my now 21 year old daughter, it was so much fun!
I love your look with the pink tights and Kayla's with the chambray shirt.
Another piece that you've proven can be really versatile. I love the chambray shirt and boots and the black peplum and tights. So fun!
ReplyDeleteI picked this skirt up from Kohl's right before Christmas, but have yet to wear it. Thanks for the inspiration on what to pair it with!
ReplyDeleteFloral skirts are adorable and you've shown us how different this one can look. Paired with purple tights is creative and fun; worn over black is completely different. Nice item, nice post. Your blog is the best!
ReplyDeleteI think you've already gotten your $6.80's worth out of that skirt, way to go! And congrats on the Lucky Feature, that is so awesome! My copy hasn't arrived yet, maybe today?

Love it with denim. So cute!
ReplyDeleteOoh great skirt! I love seeing florals in winter! It'll be fun going into the spring and summer too I'm sure! Sledding sounds like a blast too, I haven't gone in so many years!
ReplyDeleteYou know how much I love skirts- and can you believe I don't have a floral one? Sounds like an excuse to go shopping! I especially love the peplum top and berry tights! So cute! Congrats Kayla on the magazine!! That is seriously so exciting! I'm going to have to pick up a copy just to see you in it ;)

ReplyDeleteI definitely love this skirt with the chambray shirt and the peplum top. You ladies did a great job showing off its range and versatility. The colors are adorable too. Hope that you both had a wonderful weekend!

Love a great Kohl's clearance rack, and anything Vera Wang. You guys are rocking this skirt.
ReplyDeleteI do have floral skirts. My best one hasn't been seen on the blog yet but is an Anthropologie brand with a tulle underskirt - from GoodWill!
I actually had to think of this one...and I think the answer is yes...my mom made it and I wore it once. Have I bought one..the answer is no. Love the looks you've created and congratulations on your appearance in Lucky Magazine :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this skirt! It looks like a departure from Vera Wang's typical style, but still pretty! I love how you gals dressed it up especially with Kayla's look with the boots! And congrats on being featured in Lucky Mag!

Great combinations. You know I never realized how much effort it is when you guys put together so many outfits at once and photograph them. I tried to do 3 for a photo shoot and got too tired and gave up. My hats to you.
ReplyDeleteDaphne.
Great combinations!! I don´t have a floral skirt.. I just haven´t found the one that works for me.
ReplyDeleteI like the last outfit, very rocker! It gives the skirt a new dimension!
