My husband spoiled me on Christmas as he usually does. He always buys me boots for Christmas, and this year he bought me three! I debuted the Lauren Conrad for Kohl's pair in this post and these Guess boots are my new little friends. I love the details of this pair with the buckles, zipper, and the hidden plaid when you unzip them. For being one of those guys who is a "man's man" he always surprises me with things like these boots. For the rest of the outfit I just wanted to keep it simple so I wore the cream colored cowl neck sweater (which was lost forever and then found) and the lilac purple skinnies. It was one of those days I knew I was going to be busy and running a ton of errands. For a simple outfit, I felt really pulled together and stylish.

What a sweet hubby! I love the little surprise element of the plaid peeking out. He's a good shopper. :)
ReplyDeleteMy husband is very supportive and extremely conscious and let's the compliments flow, but as for buying clothes or shoes, not so much....I asked for lounge wear for Christmas, explained in detail and that I wanted to be able to get the mail or answer the door, he got me 3 pairs of pajamas.....

Wow, your hubby did really really good! My BF does buy good gifts but he researches everything to death and usually asks me so many questions I figure out what he's thinking about getting me...

ReplyDeleteOh gosh, yay for surprises! Sometimes Christmas isn't much of a surprise, but it's always nice when it is, no? I got an exciting, unexpected thing this year though--a new standard camera lens! My old one just wasn't up to par (and much too noisy).

Yeay for new boots. Love these ones just as much as your Lauren Conrad ones. He did an excellent job & wow 3 pairs. I didn't buy any new boots for myself this year. My mom bought me 2 pairs though as a Christmas Gift. They are both casual but cute & cozy.
