So word on the street is that emerald is the "it" color of the upcoming spring season. I love green so I can definitely get on board with this color. This top was an after Christmas purchase with a gift card for about $12.00. Money well spent if I do say so myself. I am already visualizing all the different ways to remix this pretty little thing. The orange/rust colored necklace was made by my Uncle Ben. They are called Bendants (kind of cute, huh)? He sells them in little shops all around Lake Erie and the Islands and does pretty well for himself. I told him he needs to put them on the web and start selling them. They are all handmade and so pretty! Of course I didn't even get a close up though!
I hope everyone has a great weekend! What's your new favorite color for the upcoming spring season?
Be sure to check back for Pinned It and Did It tomorrow. I will be posting a new DIY project. It is one of my hardest, but favorites to date!

I have always loved green in all it's shades. I am liking the pastels I am seeing in stores lately. Like the Necklace and he should sell them online!
ReplyDeleteGreen looks very pretty on you. It suits your hair and skin tone really well. I love that necklace too!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited about emerald too, it's such a rich shade of green. It looks fabulous on you - I like the way the shirt hangs too! And yes, your uncle should sell those necklaces online - it's so pretty, I can tell even without the closeup!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great color on you Heather. I'm also very excited about the color this season.
ReplyDeleteI just purchased a bright green dress...I don't think its quite emerald, but its very rich. Green is a good color on just about everyone.
Would love to see a close up of your 'Bendant'; yes, its a really cute idea!
I have had an emerald green shirt for years but always felt "Christmasy" wearing it so I am super stoked that the color is EVERYWHERE this season. You look cute and comfy!
ReplyDeleteI've started seeing this color everywhere in expensive, trendy stores so I'm sure you're right. Truth is, it's pretty. And you, with your talent, know how to use it.
ReplyDeleteGreat top! I love the pendant, I mean Bendant :) I agree he should sell them online. Have him check into Groopdealz... that is just the sort of thing they feature a lot (handcrafted jewelry). I bet he would sell tons and get people familiar with his products.

What a great color! I've come to realize that my closet is lacking in blues and greens. I hope I can find such a lovely top for $12!
