| Sweater (Kohl's, borrowed from Kayla), Gingham Top (Old Navy, thrifted), Jeans & Boots (Kohl's), Necklace (Thrifted) |
My last few trips to the thrift store have been duds until I found this gingham shirt. This was another item on my wishlist that I have been looking for so it was fate when I finally found it. I am mostly on a self imposed shopping ban, however, if I see something on my wishlist I am going to make the purchase if the price is right. Kayla's polka dot sweater was the first thing that came to mind when finding my first way to style it. This is one of my favorite looks in awhile.
Speaking of thrift shops, have any of you heard the song Thrift Shop? You can hear the song and see the video HERE. Not being much of a fan of rap music, this song is freaking hilarious and it makes me want to dance! This is the uncensored version so beware. For those who like to thrift shop, you may get a kick out of it.
Hope you are having a great Thursday!
Love this look.
ReplyDeleteI almost bought a gingham shirt over the weekend at F21 but am on a bit of a shopping ban myself. More like if I don't absolutely need it, I don't get it. You paired this up perfectly with polka dots. And I love the thrift shop song too! So funny.
ReplyDeleteI have bought like 3 gingham shirts for spring, and the polka dot sweater is too cute.
ReplyDeleteLove this bright cheerful outfit! I thrifted a beautiful gingham shirt almost exactly like yours, but I don't have any super cute sweaters to wear with it. Back to the thrift store I go!
ReplyDeleteYay! What a great find! I'm happy you found an awesome gingham shirt! It looks fabulous with the polka dot sweater and the necklace is a fun touch too!
ReplyDeleteAnd I LOVE the Thrift Shop song, I had to put it on my iPod! I got home in time to see them perform it live on Ellen a couple of weeks ago and they are just so fun. So much energy!
such a happy outfit! Polk a dot and checks play good together! Yes that song is hilarious if you don't cringe at the language....As my husband says it would have been good without the foul language...
ReplyDeleteCheery & so adorable look.....the sweater nailed the fun look!!!

I guess I have been on a semi shopping ban too. Although it was unintentional. I haven't been shopping since the day after Christmas except for like groceries and necessities (face wash, paper towels, etc.). I was hoping to spend a day shopping with my sister this upcoming Saturday but I am not sure if our schedules will allow it.
ReplyDeleteI love how you paired the gingham with the polka dots. I always love when patterns are mixed. You look great.

That Thrift Shop video is hilarious! So why don't you dress crazy like the people in the video? :)
ReplyDeleteThe gingham and polka dots are so cute together! I have that same Old Navy top.

ReplyDeleteHello lovely lady!! That sweater is absolutely adorable! And you are looking gorgeous with your long curly hair!!
ReplyDeleteOoh! Gingham! Reminds me that summer (and picnics, because you can't have a picnic without gingham, whether it's a table cloth or a shirt... or both!) is really not all that far away.
ReplyDeleteadorbs! and your hair is looking great all the time these days!
ReplyDeleteThose are two happy patterns! LOVE IT! And I love the color.

Oh my gosh I love this!! I wish I could pattern mix this well!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you think this is one of your favourite looks of late because I was about to say the same! The two patterns make a perfect pair and the overall look is modern, fresh and fun (especially with the necklace).
ReplyDeleteI love thrift shop! I put it on every time before I go to goodwill just for funsies haha. I love finding those wishlists items at thrifting prices!
