Here's a really cool concept. You have a special event that you need a special dress for. What if you could "rent" a dress? It's kind of like "Netflix" but with clothes. That's what Lendperk is all about. If many of you are like us, we don't have a money tree in our backyard to go and spend tons of money on a new dress everytime there is a special event.
With several special events coming up this year for both of us with Kayla graduating high school and our sister/aunt's wedding, this service is right up our alley!
With casual or party dresses, and many being added on a regular basis, there is a little something for everyone. With brands like Anthropologie, JCrew, and Modcloth you are bound to find something stylish to try.
As part of our review, we were both offered a dress to try out. Heather selected the Anthropologie Eva Franco Keys Dress which retails for $320.00 and Kayla selected the Modcloth BB Dakota Red Lace Dress which retails for $99.99. Whoah! At those prices, you can bet we wouldn't be purchasing these dresses retail.
Here's the cool part, at just $20/month you can rent 1 dress every month (2 week maximum rental period), $34/month you rent 2 dresses every month, and for $49/month - no limit on how many dresses you can rent. The bonus, there is a 9 day free trial is included with every plan for newcomers to test out the service with no financial obligation. You can check out one dress during this rental trial for free! Now that's a little more to our liking.
Here's how it works:
- Sign up for one of the three monthly plans as mentioned above
- Check out the dress collection and pick out whatever you want. More dresses are added every month!
- Your dress arrives (along with a small special treat).
- Use the enclosed, prepaid return envelope to send back your dress. No cleaning required!
- Pick out another dress to rent!
Easy peasy! After personally speaking to Star on the telephone, we are convinced you will love Lendperk and this service.
How do you feel about a service like this? Do you have any special events coming up?
Wow love this idea and the prices are very reasonable... I have a college graduation coming up in May! Will be exploring this once I return from my vacation.. I love both dresses you picked here!
ReplyDeleteCompletely gorgeous dresses and I was totally shocked at how affordable that is! I may actually look into this, it would fun just to freshen up the wardrobe, even if I didn't have a special event.
ReplyDeleteYou are pretty :) love your dress

I love both the dresses you guys chose! Great concept- where was it when I was younger? If only I had a reason to wear a fancy dress these days :)

I have heard of similar programs to this, I think there is one called Rent the Runway too. I think it's a fabulous idea! As fun as it is to buy a new dress for some of those events, if you are only going to wear it once anyway, why not rent it? You both look fantastic! And it sounds like many exciting things coming up too!
ReplyDeletethe print on the dress is adorable, very colorful and spring! and renting dresses sounds like a good idea, most times I don't wear a dress more than a few times anyway :D
ReplyDeleteBoth these dress are gorgeous! I love the print of the first one and the lace on the second. You both look beautiful :) Glad you received your giveaway items safely :)

sound like a great service if you go to a lot of events.
ReplyDeleteI love this idea! It's hard to buy a recognizable specialty dress to only wear once...what's the point in spending that much money!
ReplyDeleteI have no special occasions that I know of other than my own wedding (if we can agree on a date,)and of course, I'll be wearing a dress that I'll only wear once.
Who wants I buy a fancy dress when you are only going to wear it once! You ladies both look beautiful in your dresses!!
ReplyDeleteWow both of you look gorgeous in your dresses. :) I love the idea of this service, but we are at that point in our lives where there aren't really any special events. :) (All our friends and family are married and most have little ones.)
ReplyDeleteI love it! Both dresses look great on you ladies and I love the brands they work with. Now they just need to expand to plus sizes and everybody will be covered. Awesome prices too!

Crazy huh?

I LOVE BOTH OF THESE DRESSES, LADIES. Especially Kayla's. You know I am a sucker for pretty dresses.
ReplyDeleteI have tried and loved services like these. I have tried RENT-A-RUNWAY before. It has great designer dresses for fractions of the price. This is a lot more affordable though. I might give it a try.
You look absolutely amazing in BOTH those dresses! I have to say I like the first one more though! =D

I've heard about services like this and am hoping I can find something similar in Canada. I'd love to rent a dress for our engagement photos. These two are just gorgeous; what a great opportunity! You must have felt like princesses :)
