Today's Mother/Daughter Remix is Go Red for Heart Disease. We wanted to sport our red in an effort raise awareness for the Go Red Campaign through the American Heart Association. Thank you to Ada for suggesting the theme for today's remix!
Heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women, causing 1 in 3 deaths each year. That’s approximately one woman every minute! That is one scary statistic!
But it doesn’t affect all women alike, and the warning signs for women aren’t the same in men. What’s more: These facts only begin to scratch the surface. To learn more about heart disease in women and to learn more about the Go Red Campaign, visit the website Go Red for Women.
Here's a great idea and an easy way all you ladies can help out the cause. For everytime you link up a post, Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter an outfit in red with the #MacysGoesRed, $2.00 will be donated to the American Heart Association Go Red Campaign. You can learn about it HERE. The blogging community is an awesome place to come together for a great cause. Let's do our part and wear red!

Red is such a great color to incorporate. It's almost like a neutral. And of course a great color to wear in February for heart disease awareness. Great post!
