Old Man Winter

Top (New York & Co, borrowed from Kayla), Pants and Boots (Kohl's)
The only good thing about winter that keeps me happy is the fact that I can wear my boots.  Dealing with the snow, keeping track of hats and coats, and dealing with idiots who can't drive in the snow, it's exhausting.  It's also so cold in our office that I threatened one of the owners that I would bring my Snuggie in and wear if we couldn't crank up the heat.  I was dead serious.  Unfortunately this cute top that I borrowed from Kayla was covered up by a fleece jacket and scarf while at work.

Yes, I really do own a Snuggie and I like it.

How do you keep warm during the winter months?  Do you own a Snuggie?

  1. That is a really cute top! Shame you had to cover it up. I layer a lot in the winter. Tanks, tees, sweaters and heavier knits, all at the same time! I'm always cold. :)

Hope you have a great weekend. Stay warm!

  2. Love your top -- and your sense of humor. No, I don't own a snuggie but, at home, I am always in my comfy terrycloth robe.

  4. I hate when the office is cold and you end up covering up a really cute outfit. I've started avoiding this by wearing lots of layers underneath.. of course on the days I do that, I swear the heat has been cranked. Sigh. Awesome top though!

  5. I love this top!!

It's almost too warm in my office, so I don't need a Snuggie - I do have an extra sweater there just in case though!

  8. I have fleece pants and I got a couple of those chic sweatshirts I wanted for christmas, so I'm pretty cozy right now.

I hate being cold at work, it's the worst!

  9. I love anything that's snuggly, so I wear my hoodie footies when I'm cold. I wish I had a snuggie too! Love Kayla's top! It's gorgeous! You look so happy in this outfit :)

  11. Fortunately, our winter months are not too frigid. I would DIE in the seriously cold weather you guys are having! I love Florida and its warm sunshine!

However, you're rocking the boots and wintery look very well!

  14. I kind of wish I owned a Snuggie. I actually haven't heard of a Snuggie owner who doesn't like their Snuggie. Also, I love your top!

    Sincerely,
    Sabrina

  15. One of my friends actually did that! She left during lunch, bought a Snuggie, and wore it the rest of the day in the office. Really, what do they expect employees to do if they won't raise the heat?

  16. Hi Heather. Love the top you borrowed from Kayla.
My 23 year old son has a Snuggie to and he enjoys it very much. Although he doesn't let the ladies know that!

  17. I don't own a Snuggie but I can commiserate about cold offices! I keep a wool cardigan at work that I often layer over what I'm wearing, and I have a fleece blanket to drape over my knees when I'm really frozen. Typing is the worst! My fingers always end up icy. Darn winter! N of A Fine Balance has an electric heat pad on her chair that she plugs in for warmth. Maybe your company would allow that?
